Principal
A. Dale Gilliland, AIA, CSI, NCARB founder of the firm, is a native of Waynesville, NC and Kings Mountain, NC. After receiving a Bachelor of Architecture from Clemson University in 1964, he was employed by several architecture firms until he entered private practice in 1971. Since then, Dale has served as president and responsible architect for two other A/E firms. He has pursued his outstanding career with diligence and brings to Gilliland and Associates more than 50 years of architectural experience. His professional career has been characterized by his proven capabilities as an architect.
Leadership
Gilliland and Associates, Inc. was founded in 1971 by A. Dale Gilliland, AIA, CSI, NCARB for the purpose of providing its clients with quality architectural services. The firm, its consultants, and associates bring together the education and talents of principals with extensive experience in their respective fields, providing comprehensive leadership to trained specialists, technicians, and professionals.
